When planning an event, online registration forms are excellent tools to have around. The entire registration process is a lot simpler and smoother for both you and your future guests. You only need to build and publish the event registration form, then wait for your visitors to fill it out and receive the complete guest list at the end. And visitors’ task isn’t difficult either, as registration forms ask for little information. But yours will do it in a special way.

How to build online registration forms?

With the 123ContactForm event registration software, cool online registration forms can be created – as usual – as quick and simple as 1-2-3, with no coding skills required. Drag & drop fields into your forms, customize them and choose or create a theme that best matches your event.

In the first part of your event registration form, you may want to insert a brief presentation of the event.

  • What & When & Where. Use customized HTML blocks to introduce information about the event.
  • Google Maps. To be more specific on the where part, add a Google map to your registration form.

After you’ve given data about the event, it’s visitors’ turn to provide their registration information.

  • Name, Phone, Email. Request basic registration information using the predefined contact data fields provided by our event registration tool.
  • Checkboxes, dropdown lists, radio buttons. Use simple or multiple choice form fields to request details concerning visitors’ preferred food or beverage, the number of persons that will be joining them and any other information you may find helpful in the event organization process.

Where to publish my event registration form?

Wherever it reaches your future guests faster! Publish it on your own website, on social platforms (Facebook, Twitter), on blogging platforms (WordPress, Blogger), on Google Sites pages. You can also host it on the 123ContactForm platform and share a direct link, by email or by messenger, with the interested parties.

How to get my event registration list?

There are various ways of receiving your guest list. You can receive individual entries by email, access them in our database, export them as CSV / Excel files or send them to Google Docs spreadsheets, so you can easily share them with co-organizers.

As you can see, event registration will be a lot easier form now on. And you’ll have more time to take care of other important tasks. Such as testing out desserts. Have fun!

  1. Email address confirmation says:

I am creating a form that has three text boxes.

The first one is for name, the second one is for email address, and the third one is for email address confirmation.

How do I make an error appear to warn a user that the email address and the retyped one do not match if he/she does not type in the same addresses?

    • Alexandra says:

You can’t do that. However, with field validation you’ll be sure that user input will be an email address. Set the field validation for you text box to email or, even better, use the Email form field from the start.
