5 Thank You Messages To Use On Your Web Forms

123ContactForm is a free web form builder that allows users to create web forms with “Thank You” messages, known also as success pages. Did you know how important a Thank You is?

When’s the last time you offered something to somebody, or did them a favor, but haven’t heard not even the slightest murmur of a “Thank You”? I bet it didn’t make you feel comfortable at all, leaving you with a sense of incompleteness. And you sure don’t look forward to the next situation where somebody leaves you just like this, without thanking you, is it?

Saying “Thank You” is important. Really important. Whether your mom cooked your special cake, the neighbour fetched your newspaper and left it on your porch, the stranger in the parking lot gave you their parking spot, or the ice cream vendor just placed a liiiiiittle bit more ice cream in that scoop they gave you, a Thank You makes the good deed worth it. Saying thanks comforts not only the person you helped you in some way, but yourself too, as you feel that you did something in exchange of the favor you received.

The same principle goes when you’re in business. Thanking your customers might sometimes be the reason for them sticking to your product, service or company. Show them appreciation and you’ll have them on your side. For a long time.

You have several occasions where you can thank your customers. One of them involves your web forms. You already know people are generally not really thrilled to fill out forms. It’s on you to make that process more enjoyable, and you can do such by thanking your form respondents for taking the time to complete the form.

To help you find the best way to say Thank You to your customers, we gathered five message suggestions for your web form’s Thank You page. Feel free to copy & paste! Don’t forget to add your own customization to the message, in order to make it more personal for your business 🙂

Play around with the messages and make them sound just as you wish. You can also add images to the Thank You page, which your respondent will see after completing the form. Besides adding a message or an image to the Thank You page, you can redirect customers to another page. For example, you can invite them to browse your product gallery or the read the latest blog posts. One more option is to redirect your customers to a form report

To take things one step further, you can place custom variables in the form autoresponder, to make them sound more personal. Addressing your customers by their name, which they fill in when completing the form, can get rid of the dull template tone. To add form fields to your autoresponder, just go to the Autoresponder options inside your form builder, and select the fields you would like to include.

If you need a web form with a special “Thank You”, sign up for your free 123ContactForm account and you’ll be amazed of how fast and easy you can build it. And you don’t need coding skills!

How about yourself? What messages do you use on your forms’ Thank You pages?

Nice article Sabina, I had never thought of setting of variables to ID the writer personally, that is a nice touch and a great idea…. trying it out now!
