Wix forms

Here is a step by step guide on how to publish 123ContactForm web forms on Wix:

  1. Log in to your Wix account and open the HTML editor.
  2. Click on the App Market icon and select the 123FormBuilder app.

  3. Click Add to Site in the lightbox that shows up.

  4. A simple contact form will be added to your page. Click on it to open its settings panel. Then click on App Settings to customize the form.

  5. Choose one of the available templates or start customizing it. In order to customize the template, sign up for a free 123ContactForm account by clicking Sign up. If you already have a 123ContactForm account, click Connect Account. You can specify the email address that will be receiving submissions in the box Email to receive form submissions.

    (If you already have a 123ContactForm account and are logged into it, jump to Step 7.)

  6. Depending on whether you click Sign up or Connect Account, you’ll be taken to a sign up or a log in form.

  7. Once logged in to your 123ContactForm account, you will see the My Forms section. Use the form menu to edit the form structure and settings.

  8. Below is an image of the 123ContactForm Form Editor. Use it to add and edit fields. Read more about the form editor.

  10. Once you have finished adjusting your form’s settings, exit the lightbox and the form will appear on your Wix page.
  11. Publish your Wix page and your online form will go live on it.

This seem to be a crock. It’s first a shame that to simply edit wix’s contact form you seem to have to pay contact 123. Then just like with wix, I’m sure to erase your ad from the box requires more extortion of one’s funds. If this is how you operate don’t expect to stay in business long. Because I am sure if there isn’t already their will soon be some free website builder that allows this simple function without charging. It may have been ok if you didn’t charge first before I could even see how it looks on the preliminary wix website. Please let me know if I am wrong.

I have followed steps and skipped to step 7 but step 3 – publish form gives me several other links/options . I have tried several of them but cannot get the link/ form to appear on my website

    Hello Sharon!

    Once you’ve logged in your 123ContactForm account from Wix, select the form you want to add to your website from the dropdown list specified at step 5 (in the screenshot). After you have selected the form, it will automatically appear on your webpage.

How do I send logged in member id in the email that is sent to me from a form that the member submits

    Hello!

    Could you be a bit more specific? Do you want to send an ID that you’ve manually assigned for each form user after they have submitted the form? If you have added an email field to your form, go to Submissions and you’ll find the email address of each submission there. You could manually contact each member or you could use an autoresponder as follows:

    1. Enable the Reference ID in Notifications. See our documentation here.

    2. In Notifications, enable the autoresponder option and create a new template where you can add a text in the message and the Reference ID with the dropdown list above. Read more about autoresponders here. Each autoresponder will generate the Reference ID of the submission in the email message.

Hi there,
Do you advertise on my Wix site if I use your contact form app? Do I have to pay 123contactform.com not to?
In theory can I add an order form with the ability to upload 4 photos?
I’d love your help and I wasn’t sure from what I had read on the website.

Eric, here is information about our integration with Wix.
- If you do not have a 123ContactForm account, then you can select one of the form templates listed in the application box on Wix and specify the email address to which submissions will be sent to.
- If you want to edit forms or create new ones, you can do so by connecting your Wix account to your 123ContactForm account. It doesn’t have to be a paid account.
- It’s only when you want to use advanced form features that you need to upgrade the 123ContactForm app to the Premium Wix plan. The backlink to 123ContactForm is removed only on the Premium Wix plan.
But forms are fully functional on Wix websites with the free 123ContactForm plan. You can send us the link to the Wix page where your form is published at support@123contactform.com if you want us to investigate a possible issue. Thank you.
