Biannual 1 day Professional Training: Cost-$75.00 4 CEU PPSM is sponsoring a Maternal Mental Health Training for community professionals and interested volunteers. This training will help you to better understand maternal mental health complications including antenatal/postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD and psychosis. The training will cover risk factors, symptoms and interventions. It is ideal for mental health professionals, childbirth educators and birth professionals such as doulas, OB/GYNs and Midwives. This portion of the training is scheduled from 9:00 am- 2:00 pm. 4 CEU’s are available. This training is required for those interested in becoming PPSM Helpline volunteers, including peer support and Helpline MHP Facilitators. The Helpline Training will follow the Maternal Mental Health Training from 2:00 pm-4:00pm. Those who wish to attend for the purposes of volunteering may apply to have the fee waived.
