Admission Policies

You must read the following policies carefully before submitting your online application:

  • Applicants are highly advised to recheck their application before submission. An applicant can apply only once. No changes or editing will be considered once an application is submitted. Moreover, a second submission will be subject to immediate disqualification of candidacy.
  • The completed application becomes the confidential property of BYLC.
  • All the information provided in the application form must be authentic and accurate. If at any given time the applicant/participant is unable to verify the information provided in the application form or interview, BYLC reserves the right to disqualify his/her candidacy.
  • Applicants who do not meet the minimum eligibility are subjected to disqualification.
  • BYLC does not discriminate any applicant based on race, gender, religion, age, ethnicity, political beliefs, etc.
  • BYLC also reserves the right to make changes at any given time to the admission policies, program fees, curriculum, code of conduct, and any other information/subject matter that are cited on the website and social media pages of BYLC.
  • By submitting this application you are in agreement with this policy.

Admission Procedure

All interested applicants must complete the application form. After the initial screening of the application forms (round 1) the shortlisted applicants will be invited to a written and face-to-face interview (round 2). Your application (round 1) will be judged on clarity, organization, and originality. Please take your time and carefully fill out the following application.

Part A

Read the passage below and answer the following questions:

Two students, Sumon and Sumaiya, are having a conversation after school.

Sumon: Hey Sumaiya, did you see the young kid who sells fuchka outside our school?

Sumaiya: Yes, he makes a really good fuchka. I love eating it during our break time.

Sumon: I agree. But I wonder shouldn’t he be going to school at this age? I feel really bad for him. I think we should do something about him.

Sumaiya: Like what? We are just students. What can we do? If we were the head-teacher of the school, we could have done something.

Sumon: We still can do something from our part. We can teach him after school for 30 minutes every day. We can’t always wait for others to solve our problems.

Sumaiya: I think that’s a really good idea Sumon. We can do it for sure.
