About
Adilfa and Russ Ford have been photographing professionally in the Utah Intermountain area for almost 20 years and are both Certified Professional Photographers and Photographic Craftsmen degree holders. They have taught professional photography workshops locally and internationally and have been featured on the Rangefinder and Professional Photographer Magazines. Adilfa is a past president of the Intermountain Professional Photographers Association (IPPA) and Russ is the current president and they are also members of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI).

Basic Workshop - Four hour workshop on basics of photography. Detailed information on functions of a digital SLR from proper camera settings to creative use of aperture and shutter speed. Introduction to digital file workflow including raw processing, lighting and posing, and a short demonstration of using Photoshop for portrait enhancement.
Basic Lighting and Posing - Three hour workshop detailing outdoor and indoor lighting, feminine and masculine poses, couple portraits, and family group posing. How to get a studio lighting effect in your own living room with minimal lighting investment or setup a full 5 light photography studio. Avoid additional Photoshop work, posing techniques to make your subjects look thinner.
Photoshop Overview - Three hour workshop lecture style introduction to Photoshop. From preferences and setup, to smoothing wrinkles and removing zits and eye glass glare. Whiten teeth and eyes, slim the body and face, we'll even cover head swaps and removing unwanted objects. Design your own Christmas Cards or Wedding Announcements with simple graphic design techniques. No computer necessary for this workshop.
