Breakfast begins at 8:15am with Pastor Jennifer Arnold opening at 8:45am. During the morning you will attend two special sessions, one before and one after the General Session entitled Chilled but Filled which connects us to Psalm 107:9 --"For he satisfies the thirsty and the hungry he fills with good things." 

Please choose your first and second choice for each time period below (session 1 and session 2). Note that some programs are limited in size and the sooner you register the better.



SESSION 1 (select your 1st and 2nd choice for this time period)

Session 1: 9:05-9:55am

Cookie Decorating-Intro to Basic Piping Skills: Watch demonstrations showing the beginning basics of cookie decorating. Then learn and practice piping techniques so if you desire to continue your learning you will have a basic grasp on a foundational skill for creating festive cookies and cakes (limited space).--Jennifer Zuperku, graduate of the French Pastry School of Chicago

Energizing your Feet: Using a series of simple exercises and self-massage techniques, participants will learn to reduce foot pain and improve foot function for standing, walking and moving through life!--Emily Dodds Yenor, MPT, MATcs, HFP

The Essentials of Essential Oils: Come find out what all the excitement is surrounding essential oils. We will discuss the use of oils for annointing in the Bible, as well as learn how they can benefit your physical and emotional health, including which ones to use for energy, relieving tension, reducing stress, supporting the immune system and more.--Connie Peterson, member of St. John's

Tai Chi:  Learn about the origin and applications for this gentle Chinese exercise that can help reduce stress, increase range of motion and find balance. Experience how breathing, posture and movement come together in this beautiful traditional art.--Jon Odishoo, Certified Martial Arts Instructor 

'Kits for Girls' Service Project: Learn about the 'Kits for Girls' feminine hygiene project being introducted to El Salvador girls and help to create the liners as one of the components of the kit.  No sewing experience needed.--St. John's sewing groups

Line Dance 101: Movement is key to making us feel our best. Rather than spectating at the next wedding, come learn those line dances so you can join in. Plan to have fun and get your heart and feet moving. It'll bring a smile to your face. (If possible, wear flat, soft-soled shoes).--Betty Marr, fitness instructor

'Little Dresses for Africa' Service Project:
 Learn about the mission project as well as help to create simple, fun dresses from pillowcases for girls in Africa. No sewing experience needed, just willing hands to help cut and prepare materials for dress making.--Pam Losik and Sister Ann Catherine, Sacred Heart at Monastery Lake
