We are glad to announce two important updates and improvements to our platform. This Sunday we’ll be upgrading our architecture to the latest AWS (Amazon Web Service) technology, together with the release of our European platform http://eu.123contactform.com/: customers in Europe will be able to choose to store their data in European servers.
We care about our customers data privacy and we know that this is an important fact. That’s why starting with December 18th we’ll also have servers hosted in Europe – more precisely in Frankfurt, Germany. We are also migrating our infrastructure to the latest AWS VPC (Amazon Virtual Private Cloud) for improved data security and greater flexibility.
You will now have the possibility to use the EU-hosted platform if you want to keep your data stored in the European territory, resting reassured that AWS is compliant with all the regulations regarding the EU Data Protection. For this purpose, our platform will experience a downtime on Sunday, December 18th, starting at 5AM GMT. During that period, your forms will be inaccessible for around 1 hour, but your visitors will see a message inviting them to return when the process is completed.
Absolutely nothing. After the update, your forms and account will keep working normally.
